Hi there! My name is Matthew, I am a passionate GIS Technician with a keen interest in GIS and cartography. As a lifelong learner, I am constantly seeking out new ways to expand my knowledge and skills in this field. My journey in GIS started with my fascination with maps and my desire to understand how the world around us is interconnected and the opportunity to blend science and art in this industry. I have developed a strong foundation in GIS principles, data analysis, and cartography with the completion of the GIS Technician Certification and the Cartography and Geovisualization Diploma from the NSCC Centre of Geographic Sciences. I am always on the lookout for new opportunities to grow and develop my skills, whether it's through online courses, attending conferences, or collaborating with other GIS professionals.
